taste and see

Deuteronomy 31:8

And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. (KJV)

It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit–depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm]. (AMP)

God is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t worry. (MSG)

The teacher is quiet during the test. So no matter what you are going through–this verse here tells us that God is with us. But not only that: He goes before us, He will not fail or forsake us. In turn we should not fear or be dismayed or intimidated. If God brought you to it, He will see you through it. What comfort the Bible can bring to any situation if we would just search for it.

intercessory prayer

The Bible says “Say to them: The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.” {Numbers 6:23-26; NIV}

Making the decision to stop the Sunday posts was tough (see more details below). As I close this chapter for the blog, I think it is appropriate to leave you with a blessing. So I have no original prayer for you, but instead I pray every bit of the above passage from Numbers be truth in your life today and everyday. Be Blessed!

~Who or what are you praying for? Want us to pray with you? Do you have a prayer request? Let me know by leaving a comment below.

~Would you like to submit a prayer request more anonymously than in the comments section? Send an email with the subject line (prayer) to psalms34.8blog@yahoo dot com. I would be honored to pray with you about any issue.

NIV: New International Version

I had some ideas about how the Sunday posts would come together, and those haven’t come to pass. I believe in stretching myself, but these Sunday posts were beginning to stress me out. So after today there will be no more prayer posts on Sundays. Thank you to everyone who liked any of the prayers posted over these last 13 weeks, I appreciate each and every one of you. All other posts will continue as normal.
