Taste and see that the LORD is good.

Hi! My name is Dione.

I consider myself a layperson when it comes to Bible scholarship. I am not a minister and I have taken no formal classes. However, I am a Christian and have been reading the Bible most of my life. I have read it cover to cover and in any number of combinations several times through. I have dedicated myself to attending corporate bible study, as well as engaging in personal study time with several different translations and study resources. I believe that equips me to share verses and passages that have encouraged me along the way. And I pray that you will also find what I share with you to be helpful in your daily Christian walk. It is my hope that you would take the opportunity to “taste and see” that God is indeed good.

I don’t think the Bible is hard to understand if you dedicate yourself and ask God for insight before you began each session of study. It’s also important to find the best translation for you. Here at psalms34eight I share from mainly four translations: New International Version, King James Version, The Amplified Bible and The Message. I find it helpful to read from at least two different translations during any particular session of study.

I am very active in my local church body, where I serve on the Usher and Steward ministries. (As a steward I collect, count, and deposit the tithes and offerings.)

In my day-to-day life I work in retail as an Administrative Coordinator.

Psalm 34:8 Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
