Taste and see that the LORD is good.

God’s Gift:

Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For Everyone:

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

If You Believe and Declare:

Romans 10:9-10 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

The Situation:

We are all sinners. That separates us from God.

No matter how good we think we are; we can not be good enough and we are not good all of the time.

Romans 3:10 …There is no one righteous, not even one 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

The Solution:

God loves us, so He sent His Son to save us.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Jesus Christ is the only way.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

The Prayer:

Would you like to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and enter into the kingdom of God? Pray this prayer (or use this as a guide):

Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of a savior. I have done things in my life that are not pleasing to you and I am sorry. I ask for your forgiveness and I repent and ask for your help to turn away from those things. I believe that you died for my sins and rose again victorious. I thank you for that sacrifice. Please come into my life, draw me close to you, and guide my daily life. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Welcome to the body of Christ!

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: all things are passed away; behold, all things are become  new. (King James Version)

Dive into the Word of God: The Holy Bible

There are many online resources. Bible applications, blogs and articles. I really like YouVersion.com, but there are many other Bible readers out there. I also love to read from an actual paper page turning Bible as well, with our electronic age–reading from an actual book is greatly diminishing. You can get a copy of the King James Version from the Dollar Tree. I prefer to use the New International Version for personal study. I also greatly appreciate the extra insight gained from reading the Amplified Bible.

Find a Bible teaching church to attend.

You can’t do this alone. Personal Bible study is key; but you should also spend time learning, and in fellowship, with other believers.

Hebrews 10:25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another…

You now have hope.

This life is not always lovely, but with God we have comfort in our trials and the knowledge that eternal life awaits us.

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
